I hate winter...

I hate winter....

We have a wood stove that is kept chugging along. Of course this means a fine patina of ash has permeated everything in my home and my sinuses. The old saying about what doesn't kill you makes you stronger is a boatload of yuck. I am so tired of blowing my nose and expectorating (spitting) green stuff.

Welllll, had a phone call last night directing us to a lady who is looking for a stud. Snort, giggle, no not my husband, Ping my black Shih Tzu! The little lady, ZuZu, comes into heat in 2 weeks. Their rendezvous will be March 3rd. We would like pick of the litter if she conceives (he's a virgin!). Knowing me, I will have worked myself up in anticipation...=)

I used to be a great cook. Now, empty nesters that we are, I find it incredibly difficult to prepare food for just the two of us. I have my little brown box of recipes that are tried and true, many of which I would like to share with others. My problem is figuring out just how to do this + pictures!


I have joined Pinterest and truly want to share my stuff. I have detective work ahead of me as I go about deciphering the ins and outs necessary.
